We got up in the morning and went to the gambling casino called Circus Circus. Ken and I played the pin-ball machines and mom and Dad won $16 on the slots. After that we had a swim in the pool and then watched TV till 5 p.m. The we had another swim. After that we drove down the strip to see the big places such as the Riviera, The Sands, Ceasar's Palace, The Stardust, The Sahara, The Desert Inn and so on. After dark we walked to downtown Vegas and the neon was fabulous! You would never believe it! At midnight Mom and Dad went to see Totie Fields.
