We traveled through some desert into the extreme heat of Palm Springs. We searched around for a motel and found one which has units with separate cabins. The pool was outside our door and we used it quite a bit! We went up on the 2 1/2 mile long 1 mile high aerial tramway. The temperature at the top was 40 degrees lower than the 110 on the bottom. Thw whole thing was very enjoyable and was a pleasant escape from the heat.
