We left about 7 a.m. and drove along California Highway #1 which is the coast road. WE had many views of a lot of beaches and big surfs. One such area was Big Sur. We went about 150 miles along the coast until we arrived at Pismo Beach where we had some trouble finding a campsite. The are we are in does not allow tents but the man lets us in anyway and we finally found a spot big enough. I forgot to mention that on the coast road we took a 17 mile drive to Pebble beach and other areas that went all along the ocean.
