Where: Portola Park - San Francisco
Weather: Cool (54)
Miles Today: 304

We left Yosemite at about 7 a.m. and drove down a highway the wound back and forth and up and down and all over! Once we got into the San Francisco / Oakland area there were sites galore. We saw the hockey stadium (Oakland Seals) baseball stadiums, (Giants and A's) and others like San Quentin and The Golden Gate bridge. The whole city is built on a hill and all the streets go straight up. (and down of course!)After leaving Frisco we headed for Portola campground down a 7 mile winding road that was murder to drive. We have a nice spot beside a stream. After supper we took a walk on Coyote ridge.
